Hey peepz! i am in China now! hee... the weather is chilly here man...
Firstly, i miss you guys and home! i touched down safely at 7am on Sunday. A lady came to pick us up at the airport. She brought us straight back to the apartment, drove us pass SAPB and threw us back to the apartment. we were like...'huh? So, what are we supposed to do next?' So, we decided to walk around our estate and got some daily necessities. Then we went to the town area but we didn't buy anything cos the prices were the same or more ex than spore. So we just settled for dinner at a cafe cos we didn't wanna take the risk. =P
The weather is pretty cold... abt 4-10 deg. Our room heater didn't really help much and we couldn't figure out the water heater and gas. So, both of us didn't bathe last night. ha. =P the matteress is so thin that my left arm is aching from last night's slp. Jen Ying had to slp on the couch cos the heater was only in one room with one bed. the blanket stained my jeans and my precious jacket... urgh! we slept early cos we had nth to do and we didnt wanna come home too late. the corridors and door is really creepy and it's completely dark at nite(the sky turns dark ard 530)... and the corridors resemble those HK horror flicks kind. ahh! Can you imagine... having to shine the small torchlight up 5 levels and trying to open the door with our shaking hands... man.
They provided us with laptops this afternoon when i finally have access to the internet. Other than the apartment, the company treats us very nice in offering their help and providing us anything we need. We finally got to know how to operate the gas and water heater when someone came down to show us. They sent another warmer when we complained that it wasn't warm enough. So, we can bathe today! heh.
We are given another 200RMB monthly for our 30mins lunch break in the canteen. They say we can have our dinner there if we want to. wee! There's not much work to do today yet... so i can update. heh. Anyways, gotta run. my colleagues are waiting for me for seafood dinner tonight! tata~!
